Dr. John Osborn grew up in Asheville, NC, where his father practiced dentistry for 50 years. Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, and Meharry Medical College of Dentistry, he began his practice in Maynardville, TN. Dr. John has served as President of the Second District Dental Association and as President of the Tennessee Dental Association. He is a Fellow in the Academy of Dentistry International, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. John also serves as the Director of Dental Services for Remote Area Medical. He and his wife Laurel enjoy their farm in Union County and have three sons. Son, Andrew Osborn, DDS, joined his father in practice in 2018 and son, Thomas Osborn joined the practice in 2021 as an administrative associate. Dr. John enjoys flying, and motorcycling in his spare time.
Dr. Andrew Osborn grew up in Knoxville, studied at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College of Dentistry in 2018. He is a volunteer dentist with Remote Area Medical, and Volunteer Rescue Ministries. Andrew married his college sweetheart Erin, a Nurse Practitioner in Knoxville. They are proud parents of son Noah. Dr. Andrew enjoys playing the guitar, building watches, and tinkering with mechanical parts.
Our hygienists are committed to help you maintain optimal oral health through routine cleanings and dental visits. They are all licensed to give local anesthesia for pain management. They support you in achieving your goals for health, comfort, and a beautiful smile.
Debbie Long has been with our practice as dental hygienist and clinical office manager since 1981 upon graduation from East Tennessee State University. Her passion for her patients and dentistry comes from three generations of dental professionals and educators. She volunteers for Remote Area Medical. In her spare time, Debbie and her husband enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking and boating with family, friends, and GRANDchildren.
Stephanie Long began her dental career working as an orthodontic dental assistant for 8 years. She returned to school while becoming a mother and upon graduation from Roane State Community College joined our practice in 2015. She and her husband have two beautiful children. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with family outdoors hiking, and at the lake, working out, running half marathons, and cooking.
Leslie Stratton graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She joined our practice in 2020. Leslie and her husband and four children enjoy spending time with friends and family, and the family puppies.
SaraAnn Vance joined our practice in 2024 upon her graduation from Lincoln Memorial University. She brings enthusiasm, humor, and a passion for your dental health to our team. She and her husband enjoy the outdoors with her fur babies.
The primary goal of our dental assistants is to make you comfortable, to respect your time, and to maintain the highest level of infection control. All of our assistants are licensed to monitor nitrous oxide sedation, coronal polish, and apply dental sealants. They are excellent at answering your questions regarding treatment concerns.
Grace Helton joined our practice in 1992. She enjoys her profession, meeting new people, and helping people reach their goals for a healthy, beautiful smile. She has a son and a daughter & is a grandmother of two. She loves being outside, gardening, doing lawn work, and even pulling weeds. She loves her family and her fur babies.
Robyn Long joined our practice in 2018 and shares a high level of efficiency and software knowledge. She enjoys life with her son and nephew and in her spare time has large and small craft projects on which she is working.
Donna Coffey joined our practice in 2022, bringing with her expertise acquired since 1989. She loves her profession and brings a calming spirit to the most anxious patients. She and her husband are blessed with two children and three grandchildren. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Carrie Owens has been in dentistry since 2017. She appreciates making our patients comfortable and getting to know them. In her free time, she loves getting to spend time with family and friends, and creating memories with my two precious daughters.
Our administrative team will greet you upon your first phone call. They are adept at answering your questions, scheduling appointments, helping you understand your insurance benefits, filing your insurance claims, and discussing payment options.
Vicky Johnson began her dental career in 1980 while in Florida as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. She has a Certification in Dental Insurance and Dental Administrative Management. She joined our team in 2022. She and her husband enjoy motorcycle trips, reading, baking, and camping. They have a family of fur babies near and dear to their hearts.
Thomas Osborn joined our team in 2021. He has become an indispensable member of our administrative team with his accommodating disposition. In his spare time, he is passionate about playing guitar on weekends in the band, Smooth Sailor. He just recently married his beautiful bride. And for all who question: no, he is not Dr. Andrew’s twin, just his brother!
Hanna Carver joined our team in 2023 and has been in office administration since 2013. She brings a cheerfulness, organization, and efficiency to our practice. She and her husband have 3 daughters. They also enjoy their 3 mini pigs, 3 dogs, a cat, and chickens.
